Domestic Transport
If you need transportation within Sweden, we offer a wide range of solutions. From Västerbotten, we have weekly transports to and from the Mälardalen region. These transports are carried out with our own line-haul trucks or through the various networks we are part of. We load directly, and in most cases, the goods are delivered straight to the agreed unloading location without any transshipments.
International Transport.
If you require transport abroad, we have extensive experience and a well-established network covering Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. Together with our partners, we can also provide solutions for other countries, including both standard and specialized transport. We support you throughout the entire process, including transport, export, and customs handling.
Special Transport
Need to move large, heavy, or oversized cargo? Or goods with specific transport requirements? We offer specialized transport solutions tailored to these types of shipments. Our fleet includes customized vehicles such as low-bed trailers, crane trucks, and other specialized transport vehicles.
Distribution & Terminal Services.
In Skellefteå and Umeå, we offer terminal and transshipment services with efficient handling and onward distribution through our network.
In Västerbotten and Norrbotten, we operate line-haul traffic, enabling multiple delivery days to various locations in our region.
The Bilfrakt transport network
This map shows Bilfrakt’s extensive transport network in northern Sweden, stretching from Kiruna in the north to Umeå in the south, and from coastal towns such as Kalix and Luleå to mountainous areas such as Hemavan and Kittelfjäll. With hubs in Umeå, Lycksele and Skellefteå, Bilfrakt creates efficient transport solutions over long distances, connecting both large and small communities throughout the region.
Fuel surcharge
For some assignments, we apply a so-called fuel surcharge (FSC).

We adjust the fuel surcharge once per month and have chosen to use the Swedish Road Transport Association’s index series T08SÅ14MD and K92SÅ0900 for diesel, K16SÅ0910 for HVO, and K92SÅ0500 for electricity, with January 2024 as the base month.
The background to this is that fuel costs have a very significant impact on the cost of transport assignments. Fuel costs are largely influenced by factors beyond the carrier’s control, such as exchange rate fluctuations and new or changed government taxes and levies, etc. In order to create a fairer compensation model between the transport provider and the customer, this is regulated through the aforementioned fuel surcharge.
