History
Our journey begins
Bilfrakt is founded in 1940 and this is when our journey begins
Merger
2004 was the year when Bilfrakt in Skellefteå, and Bilfrakt in Umeå merged
Further merging
In 2007, Bilfrakt merged with Transportbolagen and expanded its area of business to include a larger part of Västerbotten County
V-schakt
Acquisition of V-schakt.
Economical crisis
2011 through 2013 were hard times for Bilfrakt and the company came close to bankruptcy. Following this, Bilfrakt sold off parts of the company to avoid further crisis and thus saving the company. The latter years was a time of economical recovery for Bilfrakt.
Bilfrakt Ballast
In 2014, Bilfrakt Ballast is founded as a subsidiary to Bilfrakt, responsible for managing Bilfrakts quarries and pits.
